Domestic abuse can happen to anyone

Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services (NDAS) is here to support anyone affected by any type of domestic abuse.

As a community-focused charity, NDAS works to provide vital support and advocacy for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse across the whole of Northumberland.

It can happen at any stage in life. It does not just mean physical abuse, and it can involve verbal, psychological, sexual and financial control. It can impact anyone, whether male, female, straight, gay, bisexual or transexual.

We aim to raise awareness within communities and in wider society, to challenge abusive behaviours, tackle stigma and shift norms around violence and abuse.
